Joe earned a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, GA. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor who desires to help hurting people with the skills, gifts, and abilities God has given him. He is also a National Board Certified Counselor. He has 35 years experience working with college students and those in ministry to college students. One of his areas of strength is spiritual direction. As a Christian therapist in “gospel-centered therapy”, he guides clients in experiencing the forgiveness, love, and power of God.
Joe works with adults, adolescents, couples and families. He provides help with a number of issues including sexual concerns and addictions, marriage struggles, anxiety, depression, relational problems, premarital and marriage counseling, family therapy, career and life direction, and spiritual growth. Joe has been married to his wife Emily since 1979. They have four adult children. Joe is a therapist in Athens, Georgia. |
