Q. Can you help me quit porn?
A. At Stonegate we provide an approach to counseling that focuses not just on stopping an unwanted behavior, but helping our clients understand that true change involves a change of heart and thinking. It is our desire to help you address the underlying issues and core beliefs that will promote healthy lifestyle and choices. Our focus is to help you address these core issues that in turn would move you toward freedom from addictive behaviors such as a struggle with pornography.

Q. What if I have insurance?
A. When you use your insurance, a psychiatric diagnosis must be assigned and transmitted to your insurance company, detailed clinical information often must be provided by your therapist, and in some cases total access to patient files often must be provided to insurance company employees. Often, insurance companies attempt to influence the methods or course of treatment so as to save money; this means treatment decisions will not be made by the therapist and client alone. Also, psychiatric diagnoses may affect your ability to obtain future health or life insurance and rates for that insurance. None of the therapists at Stonegate take or file insurance and would be considered an "Out of Network Provider". We can give you a "Superbill" that you can send to your insurance and pursue any reimbursement they allow.
