Hi, I’m Taylor!
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor at Stonegate Counseling Associates. Supporting my clients is one of life’s greatest honors, and I’m passionate about walking alongside individuals, couples, and families. You can expect a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment to explore challenges and work toward meaningful growth. How I Approach Therapy I believe therapy should be as unique as the individuals, couples, or families involved. My education, training, and experience have equipped me with a diverse set of therapeutic models that I integrate into our work together. These include Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodynamic Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, as well as elements from the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT). Your personality, preferences, and goals will guide the direction of therapy and help determine which methods are most effective in supporting your growth. For clients who identify as Christian and wish to incorporate their faith into the counseling process, I enjoy engaging in conversations around doctrine, theology, and spiritual practice. Who I Work With I work with adult men and women, couples, families, and adolescents aged 15 and up. While I support a wide range of concerns, many of my clients are navigating:— Anxiety and perfectionism— Family conflict and codependency— Parent/child relationship challenges— Marital conflict or communication struggles— Prenatal/postnatal concerns, miscarriage support, and infertility— Trauma and abuse recovery (including EMDR)— Premarital and pre-engagement counseling— Support for pastor and church leader wives and families. As an AAMFT Supervisor-in-Training, I also provide clinical supervision for graduate-level interns and associate-level clinicians working toward licensure. My Background & Experience I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta. I am licensed in Georgia as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Professional Counselor. I am also a member of: — American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy— Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia— Postpartum Support International. I am formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I incorporate into trauma counseling. Additionally, I am a Level 2 Gottman Couples Therapy clinician and use this model as a foundation for my work with couples and families. I also offer PREPARE-ENRICH assessments for couples seeking structured relationship insight. Let’s Work Together! Taking the first step toward therapy is a big deal and I’m so glad you’re here!
