I’m the founder of Stonegate Stonegate Counseling Associates, and I’m glad you’re looking for help. Reaching out is a big step to emotional and spiritual health, and I enjoy helping clients through their challenges and seasons of life. Whether you’re working through relationship issues, addiction, past trauma, sexual difficulties, or personal growth challenges, I'm committed to providing you a safe space to grow and be healthy. How I Approach Therapy: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who desires to help hurting people with the skills, gifts, and abilities God has given me. As a Christian therapist in “gospel-centered therapy”, I guide clients in experiencing the forgiveness, love, and power of God. I am also trained in Restoration Therapy which helps clients understand where their struggles are rooted and how to grow and develop healthy lives and relationships. Who I Work With: I work with adults and couples. I provide help with a number of issues including sexual concerns and addictions, marriage struggles, anxiety, depression, relational problems, premarital and marriage counseling, career and life direction, and spiritual growth. Having served in a variety of roles in ministry and church leadership for over 45 years, I have a unique interest in helping pastors and ministry leaders navigate the challenges and stress of ministry. Background and Experience: I hold a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, GA, and I am licensed in Georgia as a Professional Counselor. I have been married to my wife Emily since 1979 and have four adult children and six grandchildren. Let’s Work Together!
