Meet Donna!

Donna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over five years of experience providing therapy. She earned her degrees in Social Work and Spanish from the University of Georgia in 2016 and completed her Master’s in Social Work in 2019.

Donna primarily works with women, adolescents (16+), and young adults. She helps clients navigate issues related to anxiety, perfectionism, and trauma using an eclectic approach that incorporates techniques from:
  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Brainspotting
Donna has completed Brainspotting Levels 1 and 2: a powerful modality that helps clients attain accelerated healing from trauma and break free from feelings of being "stuck." She also uses her skills to help people discover and articulate their needs and voice their boundaries and limitations as needed across different relational dynamics and settings. She has a lot of compassion for people who are stuck in a state of over-functioning, and is happy to work with clients to establish more realistic expectations and grow in grace for themselves.

​Additionally, Donna is conversational in Spanish and can incorporate Spanish into sessions as needed.
