Phyllis earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists. Phyllis is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and churches understand God’s design for human sexuality. In addition to helping people with sexual issues, Phyllis enjoys counseling adults and couples on a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, grief, and marital problems. Phyllis is a certified Prepare Enrich Facilitator and offers premarital counseling to couples preparing for marriage.
Prior to her work as a counselor, Phyllis obtained a Master of Business Administration from Georgia College and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from North Georgia College. Previously, she worked for several years in human resources at the University of Georgia. Phyllis has been married to Jerry Kiser since 1982 and together they have two children. In her spare time, Phyllis enjoys walking, reading, and gardening. |
